Marmara Foundation Accomplished STOP Project Marmara Group Strategic and Social Reserach Foundation finalized its Social Total Organization Project (STOP) with a diploma ceremony in Ankara, at the Polish Embassy, on 21 January 2006. Marmara Foundation realized this Project in cooperation with Turkish Employment Institution (İŞ-KUR), Gazi University in Ankara and Altındağ Municipality. The project was aiming to employ the youth people who could not find any chance to have univeristy education. 120 people were graduated from the Project. An elite group of guests attended the ceremony held at the Polish Embassy. Among the guests were the Ambbasador of Austria Marius Calligaris, Parliamentarian of the Republican People’s Party Haşim Oral, Former Minister of Defence Barlas Doğuş, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Yaşar Yakış, Former Minister for Housing, City Planning, Resettlement and the Environment Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu, İŞKUR Provincial Director Mr. Savaş Karataş, General Director of İŞKUR Namık Ata. After the presentation ceremony for students who completed the program, Maria Nowotna – Academician at Bilkent University and musician performed pieces from Beethoven, Debussy and Chopin.
